Bus at Bus Stop location at resort

If I stay at a Disney resort, it is my understanding that standard parking at the parks is included. Is it possible to pay the difference and get Premium parking. I need to bring my own electric wheelchair to the parks. We plan to visit 3 or 4 parks.

Hi Sherri! I recently double checked about this very same question as we were interested in doing the same thing.

First of all if you are bringing a scooter this might indicate you have a handicap permit. All of the parks will have close in handicap parking which would be your best option when going to the parks using your own transportation.

Second, the Disney buses and large boats can easily handle the scooters for guests traveling from the resorts to the parks and Disney Springs. They have special spots to secure them on the buses and will help you with the loading and unloading. The buses obviously will get you the closest to the park entrance. This is especially true for the Magic Kingdom where the parking lot is a great distance from the park. You have to take either the monorail or ferryboat to reach the entrance once you have parked.

If you do choose to drive yourself to the parks and want the premium added Parking it will only cost you $15 for resort guests. You do indeed get complimentary park parking which is $20 so you only are required to pay the added cost of $15. This parking will get you closer but not necessarily as close as handicap or bus drop off locations.

I hope you are able to visit all four parks during your stay. They are all absolutely wonderful and amazing in their own right and it is always hard for me to say one is better then the other.
