Hello stay at CBR 6 nights what to do there?how much time do you recommend staying back and relaxing and doing activities there?Don't want to miss any of the 4 parks but don't want to miss out on the resort and need to relax and enjoy vacation,dd 13 and I.

    Hi Stacey

One of the first things I always tell friends is to pace themselves, so breaks at your resort are a perfect idea. Personally we enjoy going to the parks in the morning for a few hours and then returning to the resort for a late lunch and some down time. Typically we spend a few hours each afternoon at our resort pool. There are usually great poolside activities going on that the kids can join in on and mom and dad can rest their tired feet. We try to be on our way back to a park by early evening and usually have a dining reservation booked for around 6pm. Many times we will head to a different park for our evening fun. We enjoy evening extra magic hours and often plan the park with the extra hours as our destination.

We leave one morning for a late start so we can sleep in or play in the pool early and then head out and I always plan one full open day. This is the day that we use as a makeup in case it rained during one of our park days. If not,  we like to venture to Downtown Disney, stop by Disney Quest or head over to one of the mini golf courses for a round. Depending on the resort you are staying at, there are often night time activities going on like movies at Beach Club, Campfire with Chip and Dale at Fort Wilderness and strolling entertainers at the Boardwalk. We usually plan our open day to include an early retreat to the resort to take in some of these free activities.

The best way to plan is to include the whole family. Ask them what is important to them and what they really want to see and do. Make a list with the few top must do's at each park and hit those first. This way you will not feel overwhelmed and you will be able to relax and enjoy other acitvites. Hope you have a magical trip!
