We have 5 staterooms and 5 families booked for Spring Break 2016 on the Wonder. Will we be seated near each other for dining? Also, we are driving 20 hours from Michigan. What time should we plan on arriving to check in and what are our parking options?

Welcome aboard, Heather! Spring Break for your families sounds like it's going to be quite the adventure this year! My family loves sailing with Disney Cruise Line anytime, but we've had even more fun at sea when we've sailed with friends and extended family! You're in for quite the trip!

You'll want to be sure that your reservations are all linked so that Disney Cruise Line knows that you're all traveling together. Give the agents a call at (800) 951-3532 with your reservation numbers ready. They can link those for you, and depending on how many guests are in your group, can chat with you about seating arrangements for dinner. You may be able to have two large tables next to each other, possibly three, depending on how many guests you have.

No matter if guests are flying in or driving in, I usually suggest that they plan to arrive the night before setting sail and stay at either a local hotel or resort in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area or at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts. But, if you're staying further north the night before and driving down to the area that morning, you'll be fine arriving anywhere from 11:00 to 2:00 on embarkation day. When your online check-in begins at 75 days prior to sailing for first time guests (90 or more days prior for guests who have sailed with Disney before), you'll get to choose your Port Arrival Time from the available times at that point. That will give you a better planning idea of when to arrive.

Parking is available at Port Canaveral, and the pricing can be viewed on the Port Parking page of Disney Cruise Line's website. They offer standard parking as well as preferred parking. Either way, it's a quick walk over to the port terminal when you check in.

Stop back if you have other questions as you continue planning, Heather!
