Starting to do research for our trip to DW in October 2013- looking at either staying at the wilderness cabins, old key west villas or renting a house off property...opinion? There will be 4 adults and 2 children (5yrs old and 2 yr. old)

Hi Sara!  You are my kind of girl getting a jump start on your 2013 Walt DIsney World Vacation planning!  I always say the planning of a Disney Vacation is almost as much fun as the vacation itself!  My biggest tip for anyone planning a trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is to stay on property!  There are so many amazing perks for guests staying on property such as complimentary transportation, Disney's Magical Express from the Orlando International Airport, the Disney Dining Plan, Extra Magic Hours, charging privileges to your room, complimentary package delivery, and more. Guests staying on property will also love the amazing theming that is unique to each Disney Resort, the attention to detail at every turn, and will enjoy the superb service that Disney is known for. Being able to easily travel back to your Disney Resort for that much needed break or nap will be very important when traveling with "little ones." I would recommend staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort for its relaxing and tropical theming, spacious room accommodations and recreational activities that are offered. The villas at Old Key West are some of the largest on property. I would recommend visiting the unofficial website allears.net to view the photo galleries for both Old Key West Resort and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort, which offers a rustic, American Frontier theme. I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can assist you with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical 2013 Trip, Sara!
    Happy Planning,
