I am starting to plan for a trip to WDW with my infant, when I make reservations at table service restaurants, should I include him in the head count since he will need a high chair? Thank you for your help and advice!

    Hi Lauren!

It is always the best planning to make dining reservations for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Restaurants in the parks and in the resorts book up quickly and walk ups are almost never available.

When making a reservation for your family group please include your infant as one of the party. The locations need to know exactly how many guests will be needed to be seated at a table even if it is an infant in a high chair. This is for safety reasons as they can’t have chairs in the aisles. Every restaurant will have high chairs and booster seats for the younger guests and of course there will be plenty to offer on the children’s menus. So pick spots that you will enjoy and your child will be happy no matter what. I have favorites all over the property and with every visit try to get to them all as well as try new ones. Enjoy!
