Hi! Starting to plan my first ever trip to WDW for late Jan 2020. I was trying to price out resorts but the calendar won’t let me choose a sign in date past Dec 31. When can I book my trip? I want to make sure I take advantage of the FastPass offers if

    Hi Koren,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I’m thrilled to hear that you’re looking to plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort in January 2020.

I unfortunately don’t know the exact date that you’ll be able to check prices and make your reservation for your vacation. From what I remember in previous years, the rates and ability to make reservations for the following year (or, at least the first half of that year) have typically popped up some time during the month of June. My advice to you would be to keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for up-to-the-minute information about when you’ll be able to book your vacation.

As for your FastPass+ selections, don’t worry! Because you plan to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you’ll be able to make your selections up to 60 days before your visit. Plus, the ability to make FastPass+ selections is included with every Theme Park Ticket. Booking sooner rather than later doesn’t typically come with any advantages when it comes to the FastPass+ service.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Even if you can’t book your 2020 stay yet, we can still help you narrow down your choice of Walt Disney World Resort hotel and Disney vacation package to ensure that you’re ready to go when you’re finally able to make your reservation.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
