I am starting to plan our family trip for Sept. 2013, I have done some research and found this to be a time when the parks are not crowded. Will we be able to get through each park in one day or should I still plan for 2days for each park.

    Hi Lacy,

To get a nice experience at each park, you can spend one day at each park.  However, to truly experience all the attractions of each park, you may need more than one day.  What may help you as you are in the planning stages of your trip is to invest in The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World by Bob Sehlinger & Len Testa since it includes any and everything you'd like to know about WDW including touring plans.  By looking these over, you can get an idea of how much you could accomplish at each of the parks.  There is also a companion website www.touringplans.com, but it does have a small fee (worthwhile in my opinion!).

Similarly, plans can also be found in The Complete Walt Disney World by Julie and Mike Neal as well as The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World by Doug Ingersoll (one of our Disney Dads!). I really think these books complement each other well.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again.
