    Kayla Asked

Is there a way that I can start paying for my trip now, even if it won't be this year?

Welcome aboard, Kayla! You must be planning an exciting cruise next year with Disney Cruise Line! I'm happy to tell you that guests can begin paying for their cruise as soon as they book and put down their first deposit payment. We love to spread out our payments to make the cost a lot more manageable for our family. One hundred dollars here and there doesn't hurt as much as a big lump sum payment, right?

Once you book your cruise, you can call Disney Cruise Line, or your travel agent, at any point and put money toward your reservation, up until the date you must be paid in full (normally about 75 days prior to departure), which you can read more about on the payments section of Disney Cruise Line's website. It is then, once you are paid in full, that you can begin booking your extras like Adult Exclusive Dining, Port Adventures and more. These costs, too, can be then paid here and there before you set sail if you'd like, or paid in full as you pay off your stateroom onboard account on the last day of your sailing.

My family buys Disney Gift Cards at our local grocery store when they offer double or triple fuel rewards on gift card purchases. Then, we save money on our gas purchases while we are setting aside Disney funds. It's a win-win because we need gas for the car, and if we can save for Disney as we fill up, it's great! If you aren't quite ready to book your cruise yet, so you can't make official payments toward it, why not start purchasing Disney gift cards to save toward the cost? Then, you'll be armed with a stockpile of Disney Gift Cards to use toward your deposit and more once you've decided on a sail date and are ready to book!

Have fun planning and choosing the cruise that is just right for your family, Kayla! Stop back here with any other questions, as I'm happy to help!
