When is the Star Wars weekend in 2014? Thinking about taking a quick trip but can't seem to find the exact dates.

    Hi Jenny!

We LOVE Star Wars Weekends and I think this event is so worth a trip to Disney World (of course I think anything is worth a trip to Disney World).

They haven't announced the 2014 Star Wars Weekend dates yet. The event is typically held on Fridays - Sundays for 4 consecutive weekends beginning in mid-to-late May.  The 2013 Star Wars Weekends were held May 17th - June 9th, 2013.  The Disney Parks Blog announced the 2013 Star Wars Weekend dates on 12-27-2012. I am hoping that they will make the announcement early again this year so we can start planning our trip as well!

Here's what I'd recommend: Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement regarding the 2014 Star Wars Weekends dates. You can subscribe to their daily emails so that you'll be notified of new blog posts with all the latest exciting news. If you're on twitter, be sure to follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. You can also keep your eyes on the official Walt Disney World Facebook page. And of course, you're always welcome to check back with us.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!
