Other than the all star family suites. What is the most cost effective resort to get a separate sleeping and living area? (While my kids are sleeping at 7pm. Just want somewhere to watch TV)

Other than the All Star Music Family Suites, other ways to get two separate areas would be:

    - Get two connecting rooms. This is a possibility at any of the WDW resorts, including the budget-friendly value resorts.

    - Get a villa-style room. The one and two bedroom villas have separate sleeping and living areas, as well as a full kitchen and a washer/dryer.

    - Get a suite-style room. Mostly available at the deluxe hotels. Likely more expensive.

To get the pricing and availability of any of these choices, contact Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY. The connecting-rooms-at-a-value-resort option is probably going to be your cheapest option. However, since the villa rooms do have a real kitchen, if you end up cooking a few meals in your room, the cost savings in meals might outweigh the extra cost of the room. Again, you need to contact Disney reservations for price quotes.
