Split stay at AOA 6/2/13-6/14/13 and one of the moderates 6/14/13-6/17/13. Would it make sense to purchase the quick service dining plan for the first half then do all the table service meals we wanted the remainder? It's just me and my DD going. Thanks!!!

    Hi Stephanie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The problem is going to be park tickets.  The first few days on a Magic Your Way ticket are the most expensive, then the next few are a little cheaper, then a little cheaper, and the last few days are very inexpensive.  What you want to avoid is purchasing the first couple of up front days more than once as they are the most expensive days!

To get a Disney Dining Plan during your second stay, you would have to purchase park tickets again.  My suggestion would be to do the longest stay first if you want to get a Disney Dining Plan.  Then you could buy a package with Magic Your Way tickets to cover your entire trip.  For example, supposed you were going to do Art of Animation 3 nights and then do Port Orleans Riverside 3 nights.  You could purchase a package for Art of Animation that had 3 nights of the Disney Dining Plan but 6 or 7 days of park tickets.  Then you would have park tickets to cover the second half of your trip; you would just have to pay for meals out of pocket during the second half.

I know this can be confusing.  Please write back if you would like more information on this!  You can send questions directly to me or any other panelist!
