Family on Big Thunder Mountain

    I have splash mountain fast pass at 10:30, thunder mountain at 11:30 and Haunted mansion at 12:30. If we ride splash mountain at 10:35, would it allow me to reschedule my thunder mountain fast pass and move it up to 11:00? Or need to wait the full hour?

    Hey, Alicia! Thanks for bringing this really great question to us. I can definitely appreciate your FastPass+ planning and cannot even begin to tell you how often thoughts like this run through my head! Since I have done this many times before, I can tell you that yes, it is possible to move your FastPass+ selections up as soon as the first one is used. However, and this is a VERY big however, it is going to absolutely depend on availability. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a very popular FastPass+ to have, so there may not be a spot available for you to move your 11:30 a.m. one up. I have a tip to share with you that has helped me in times like this.

    Alicia, as soon as you scan the Mickey touchpoint to enter the FastPass+ queue at Splash Mountain, go ahead and pull up the FastPass+ section of My Disney Experience. Open your next FastPass+ for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and tap to Modify the selection. Choose the guests in your party and then the system will show you available times. Note that there may be no available times the remainder of the day! However, I want you to keep tapping the 11:00 a.m. button at the top to refresh what is available. Guests change their plans frequently and you never know when someone may release their FastPass+ spots. You will want to be on there if they do! I have grabbed some pretty great attractions such as Frozen Ever After and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train by continuing to refresh. If you end up not being able to move up your spot, no worries! You will still have that 11:30 a.m. one as long as you do not confirm a change as you scan for a new time.
