We spent 5 days at Disney in Spring 2012. My kids were 4 & 6 at that time and we had 3 days at MK, 1 day HS and 1 day at AK. We're coming back soon. I have a 3 day pass and am planning 2 days at Epcot and 1 day at MK. Would you agree with my plan?

    Hey Scott-

Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited you are bringing your kids back because the 3 years difference will open their eyes to even more magic. I have been taking my sons to Walt Disney World Theme Parks since they were 3 and 7 and we love both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom Park.

However, since your last visit a major renovation occurred at the Magic Kingdom Park and I would spend two days here. The New Fantasyland’s Enchanted Forest and Storybook Circus areas have been completed. The Enchanted Forest is where you will enjoy the rush of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Princess Fairytale Hall with Cinderella, Rapunzel, Elsa and Anna, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid and Ariel’s Grotto attractions. Dine with the Beast at the Be Our Guest Restaurant and enjoy the manly dishes at Gaston’s Tavern including the delicious Lefou’s Brew. In the Storybook Circus you can fly high with the Great Goofini on the Barnstormer. Dumbo The Flying Elephant has two flight platforms along with a fantastic big-top interactive play area. Casey Jr. Splash ’N’ Soak Station is a great place your kids can cool off. I love the attention to detail in this area. Check for peanuts stomped into the cement.

I would recommend you visit Epcot for one day. Try to arrive 30-45 minutes before the park opens. For young kids would be best to make FastPass+ reservations for either Soarin’ or Test Track, Mission Space and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. If your FastPass+ entitlement is for Soarin’ then head to Test Track as your first attraction or vice versa. Also make sure to check out the Canadian Lumberjacks at the Canada Pavilion and the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats at the China Pavilion. Absolutely Amazing.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
