Spending my sons 5th bday at HS. Is there a resteraunt at Hollywood studios that would be good for celebrating his birthday (party of 10). Or should we spend the day there and head to Chef MIckeys for dinner( this is our 1st trip - june 09) LOVE y'all !!

I would venture to guess that the birthday boy would enjoy the meal at Chef Mickey over any of the choices at Hollywood Studios.  And who can blame him?  I know my birthday would surely be a happy one if I could spend it with the big cheese himself.

That said, there are some worthy choices available at Hollywood Studios as well.  He'd probably think the Sci-Fi dine in (where you eat in "cars" while you watch old movies on the big screen) is pretty darn cool.  Unfortunately the cars only hold a maximum of six people so it wouldn't be a conducive restaurant to seating your large party together.  The 50s Prime Time Cafe is a favorite of my kids.  It's far more accommodating for large parties and it's themed as well.  Meals there are served up right in Mama's kitchen, by your long lost cousins no less.  Not only will they insist that you keep your elbows off the table but they'll also make mom and dad clean their plates before serving dessert.  Seeing as how kids love turning the table on mom and dad they seem to really enjoy the antics at the Prime Time.

Again, my top choice for a 5-year-old boy would be Chef Mickey, but if you can't get the reservation perhaps one of the suggestions above would be suitable.  Good luck!
