Hello, we would like to spend 1 night at the POP Century and then the following 2 nights at Art of Animation. I know they are right next to each other. However, can we park at AoA on day 1 then just walk over when we check in for days 2 & 3?

Hi Roy!  Thanks for your question.  If you picture an hourglass, and Disney's Pop Century Resort is at the top of the hourglass and Disney's Art of Animation Resort is at the bottom of the hourglass, the skinny middle part is the Generation Gap Bridge.  That is the only connecting part of the two resorts.  Both have their own parking lots, which are a fair distance from one another - you would need to drive from one to the other.  Technically you could walk with your luggage over the Generation Gap Bridge to the lobby of Art of Animation Resort.  However, you would not be able to leave your car in the parking lot of Art of Animation Resort on day 1 since you would not be a registered guest until days 2 & 3.  You would have to park at Pop Century Resort the first night and then switch your vehicle to Art of Animation Resort.  You will be issued a parking pass valid for length of stay for each resort separately.

Hope this helps to clarify things.  I wish you and your family a very magical Walt Disney World vacation!
