How are the spectators chosen for the parade at Animal Kingdom?

    Hi there, Lewis!

Experiencing that kind of Disney Magical Moment is largely a result of being in the right place at the right time. There is neither formula nor trick to being selected to Grand Marshal or ride a float in one of the parades; it's simply a question of demonstrating enthusiasm, excitement, and, of course, being around the Cast member whose job it is to make the selection.

Many unaffiliated fan sites have made suggestions: "Be by Tusker House in advance of the parade!", and "Talk to all of the Cast Members you see!" are two pieces of advice that I have seen mentioned multiple times.

So there's no good advice I can offer. Certainly being friendly and approachable to the Cast Members is a great start; if you put a little magic in their day, there's no telling what they will do for you.

    See you later, celebrator,
