Are there any specific days during the week that are historically busier at different parks than others? Would you intentionally avoid early magic hours to miss the crowds?

Hi, Michelle! To answer your question: absolutely.

The prime example is Hollywood Studios on days when Fantasmic is showing later in the day. It hikes the crowd levels substantially.

If you can make the early Extra Magic Hours - meaning, if you can arrive prior to park opening so you get the full hour of touring before non-resort guests arrive - then totally do it. If you're not going to wake up / arrive early enough to take advantage of the morning Extra Magic Hours, rule of thumb is to pick a different park.

Extra Magic Hour evenings don't sway the crowd levels as much as they do for Extra Magic Hour mornings. In fact, you will usually find the crowd levels low the morning after a park has Extra Magic Hour evenings. For example, if Epcot has Extra Magic Hours on, say, Monday night, then Tuesday morning will see lower crowd levels at Epcot because people already spent a decent amount of time there the night before.

    Savvy?
