    Laura from TX Asked

Is there a specific age to be able to use the MagicBand to pay for meals?

    Hi Laura,

There is no specific age for allowing charging onto a MagicBand. The choice is up to you.

When you register at the hotel, the adults on the account will be asked whether each specific guest should be allowed to have charging privileges. You can make that determination for each person on your reservation.

I started allowing my kids to charge at Walt Disney World when they were 9 or 10 years old. We had specific rules about when and how much they could charge, and I knew that they would follow those rules. Other guests don't allow their kids to charge on their Disney accounts until they are well into their teens.

Just let the cast members at the check-in desk of your hotel know what you prefer and they'll be happy to set up your account the way you'd like it.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
