What special ticketed event is taking place on Tues, Jan 31st from 7:45am-9:00am at Magic Kingdom? We were planning our visit to MK on that day - should I swap parks in order to avoid extra crowds from this event?

    Hi Angela!

I hope you are beginning to pack your bags! Your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is right around the corner! Magic Kingdom is by far the most popular park within the resort and that is why they have introduced the Disney Early Morning Magic Event. This event takes place from 7:45 AM to 10:00 AM on select Sundays and Tuesdays, (January 31, 2017 being one of these dates). Early Morning Magic is fabulous because of the limited tickets sold for each day. Guests enter the park at 7:45 a.m. and experience the popular attractions within Fantasyland and are provided a delicious breakfast.  I had the chance to experience the Early Morning Magic and it was awesome! My husband and I rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train seven times in a row because there was no line and no waiting. I also loved the opportunity to take amazing photos in front of Cinderella Castle with no one in the background! The buffet style breakfast is served in Pinocchio Village Haus and is delicious! Currently, the admission for this event  $69 per adult and $59 per child (tax not included and regular theme park admission is also required). Since the admission is very limited, advanced purchase is recommended.

As far as swapping parks on that day, I can tell you that the day I attended the Early Morning Magic event, the crowds were pretty normal and the event did not cause extra crowds.

Did you know?: The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will be taking place during your visit! Be sure to check out the special events taking place during this new and exciting festival!

    Happy Planning!
