Do you have special programs for children with Autism?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jeffrey!

As a mom of an Autistic teen, who thrives on each Disney Parks vacation, I’m pleased to hear you are contemplating a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, where all Guests are afforded a magical and inclusive visit.

I rely heavily on Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities, which includes:
-Accessing Attractions through the Disability Access Service along with FastPass+ Planning with My Disney Experience
    -Helpful Attraction Guides
-Rest Areas and examples of Visual Schedule/Timeline Boards found in the Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities
-Rider Switch program information for attractions that cannot be experienced by all members of your party

As well, may I offer the many benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel, including proximity allowing you to easily head back for a refreshing swim or a nap?

Mom’s Tip: You may wish to bring a name-tag or bracelet for visual identification of your child, Ear-plugs or headphones, reinforcers and a favored activity or device.

Best Disney Wishes with your planning, Jeffrey!
