We have some Special Offer Canadian Resident Tickets that don't expire (two adults and two children). By the time we are likely able to visit again, one of our children will be over the age of 9. How do we upgrade one child ticket to adult?

    Hi Michael,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I’ll admit it: I’m somewhat stumped by your question because I didn’t think that any previous (or current) Special Ticket Offers for Canadian Residents included “no expiration” Theme Park Tickets!

Because tickets purchased via a Special Offer typically can’t be modified, I’m not sure whether you’ll be able to “upgrade” a child ticket to an adult ticket during your next Disney Parks vacation. My suggestion would be to contact Walt Disney World Resort in order to get more information, and to make sure that these tickets truly don't have an expiration date. If you give them the confirmation number on the back of your ticket, they might be able to give you a better sense of what your options are likely to be.

I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to give you a more definitive answer, but please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re here to help, or at least point you in the direction of someone who can!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
