I have a "special needs son" who eats about 5 items. With deciding where to Dine, I would like to choose some of the "Character Dines", but don't want to be charged for him since he doesn't eat much. Is this possible?

    Dear Tammi,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I completely understand what you are asking, because I have even joked with other Moms Panelists about taking our children to a character dining experience and then having them eat only bread! Unfortunately, since these experiences are buffet-style, you must pay the full child price for your child even if they only eat a small amount. The way that I think of it is that you are paying not only for the meal itself but also for the ambiance and for the wondEARful one-to-one character interaction. I hope that helps you to make an informed decision.

    Have a magical time planning!
