We have a special needs adult daughter in a wheelchair. She enjoys fast rides. Can you provide us with any information on handicap accessibility to these rides? Also, are there any rides you would recommend at Epcot Center?

    Hello, Steven!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I agree with your daughter! The faster the ride, the more I enjoy it! To help you plan your time in the theme parks and water parks, take a look at the Attractions Access Categories, which divides attractions into five categories:
         ~ May Remain in Wheelchair/ECV
         ~ Must Be Ambulatory
         ~ Must Transfer from Wheelchair/ECV
         ~ Must Transfer to Wheelchair
~ Must Transfer to Wheelchair, Then to Ride Vehicle

I find it very helpful to know which attractions require my son (also in a wheelchair/push stroller) to access the vehicle with my help and which allow him to remain in his chair to experience the attraction. One of my son's favorite attractions at Epcot is Test Track. He loves when the doors open, and we zoom (outside) around the track. We have some great Disney PhotoPass Service photos of him raising his arms and laughing!

I hope you find this information helpful. Please visit us again should other questions arise as you plan your magical visit.

    Happy Planning!
