it sounds like some people started off their stay at one resort, then halfway thru finished the stay at another.(i guess 2 get the experience of more than 1 place)is this common,or even ok?how would that work, would it cause probs w/dining plans,or tickets?

    Hi Rachel,

Many guests stay at two different Walt Disney World Resorts for a variety of reasons. I have stayed at more than one resort because I could not get the resort I wanted for the entire trip. Usually this is because I have added extra days to my trip.

Staying at two resorts is easy. On the day you check out of your first resort, you have bell services send your luggage to the new resort. When you arrive at the new resort, the cast member upon check in will assist you with getting your luggage to your room. When we did this, we went to Animal Kingdom and then headed to our room after a day of touring with the animals.

There is no issue with Disney in you staying at a different resort during your stay. You will receive new Key to the World cards to reflect the change in resorts. However, all of your dining and days on your tickets will be transfered with it.

I do recommend keeping your latest "receipt" from dining just in class the pixie dust clutters the system.

    Have a magical vacation!
