Hi! This sounds like an odd question, but can i take knitting needles into the park? I'm talking about wood ones that are small and connected by a plastic tube.

    Hi there, LaDawn!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm so excited for your Disneyland Resort vacation.

I love that you are thinking about ways to fill your downtime and are considering knitting on your vacation. Although knitting needles are not explicitly forbidden in the Park Rules, it's possible if they look sharp that they could be considered a weapon. While I know your intentions are not harmful, ultimately it will be up to the Cast Member at the security checkpoint who searches your bag if they will be allowed into the parks.

With so much to see and do at the Happiest Place on Earth, you may find it difficult to have time to knit! Plus with features like Disney FASTPASS, Disney MaxPass, and mobile food ordering on the Disneyland app, you won't even be spending very much time waiting in attraction or dining lines. With these exciting new features we are able to create so many more magical memories.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
