sorryi forgot -date is june8-15- any tips on star wars weekend as well as princess stuff? also help with things like where to view parades as my special needs son hates crowds & cant sit still well would be very helpful in addition to an intinerary.

    Hi Erin!

I've given your question plenty of thought and have come up with the following itinerary for your upcoming June trip:

June 8:  On your arrival day, explore your Disney resort including pools, restaurants and playgrounds.  Enjoy dinner (perhaps at T-Rex) and shopping at Downtown Disney.

June 9: Enjoy morning Extra Magic Hours (EMH) at the Magic Kingdom beginning at 8 am.  This is the least crowded time of the day.  Take a rest mid-day, then return for the 3 pm or 9 pm parade, depending on your family's preference. Find a less crowded porch in Frontierland along the parade route so your son is not overwhelmed by the crowds. Earplugs may help if he suffers sensory overload. See Wishes at 10 pm if your family is up to it!

June 10:  8 am EMH at Epcot.  Make reservations and meet the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.  Conclude the day with Illuminations at 9 pm.

June 11:  Arrive at 9 am opening for a galactic day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Watch out for mischievous Storm Troopers.  Experience the NEW Star Tours ride, Jedi Training Academy, and end your day with Hyperspace Hoopla.

June 12:  Spend a low key day at your resort pool or a Disney Water Park.

June 13:  8 am EMH at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Head to Kilimanjaro Safaris first!

June 14:  Return to the Magic Kingdom for 8 am EMH to revisit your favorite rides there.

June 15:  Head for home with tons of magical memories.

    Best wishes,

    Jill
