    Josefina from NY Asked

We are sooo happy finally, we going to the best place on earth. Any recommendation for first timers, we will arrive on december 24 to jan 2. My girls are 6, 8 snf 14

Hello Josefina!  You must be so excited to be going to Disney during the holidays!  In case you didn't know, you will be going at one of the busiest times of the year.  It is not uncommon for the parks to reach capacity so I definitely recommend you head to the parks early.  You may also want to map out your must see attractions for each park so you have a plan of attack.  For example, when visiting Magic Kingdom (MK), you may want to experience the MK mountains - the newly renovated Space Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad and Splash Mountain.  Use fast pass whenever possible.  One idea might be to get a fast pass for Big Thunder and wait in line to ride Splash Mountain (located adjacent to each other).  With any luck, by the time you finish Splash Mountain, it will be time to ride Big Thunder with little to no wait.

If you haven't already, you may want to make dining reservations for any sit down meals you'd like to attend.  I do have to warn you that some of the more popular restaurants/times may be booked solid as most guests have booked their dining reservations months ago (you can currently book dining reservations up to 180 days in advance).  If you are unable to make reservations, don't worry - Disney has plenty of counter service locations and reservations are not required for those.

Also, upon check in, make sure you ask for first time visitor buttons.  If you have any specific questions you'd like to ask us before you leave, please let us know.  Otherwise, feel free to ask any cast member your questions and they will be glad to assist.

I hope your first visit to Disney is super magical! Diane
