Resort shampoos and soaps

I will soon be visiting Port Orleans- Riverside at Walt Disney World. I have stayed here several times and only remember bar soap being offered as a toiletry along with shampoo and conditioner. Is a body wash in place of a bar of soap a possibility here?

    Hi Katie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I see why you keep returning to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. It’s such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Depending on where in the resort your room is located, you might find that you have a room that is equipped with the new refillable toiletry bottles. These are pump-style dispensers attached to the shower wall, and from photos I’ve seen, it includes shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If you do not have this new style in your room, in my experience, you will find shampoo, conditioner, bar soap (facial and hand) and body lotion. You may be able to call Mousekeeping and request liquid soap if you prefer, but I can't promise that request can be accommodated.

Katie, I always bring a bottle of body wash just in case, and then use the H20+ products if I find them in my room. You will also be able to purchase body wash and other toiletries at Fulton’s General Store if you need. I'm planning to stock up on my Disney H20+ products on my upcoming trip, because the smell of those products just takes me "home" when I've got the post-trip blues.

Enjoy your time at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. I had a chance to dine at Boatwright’s Dining Hall on my last visit, and absolutely loved their shrimp and grits…and don’t miss the St.Louis Gooey Butter Cake!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
