How soon can you start making payments on a WDW vacation? Also, does that apply for a Disney Cruise vacation?

    Hi Adrienne!

Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  I'm so glad you are hEAR!  When you book a WDW package, a $200 deposit (subject to change) is required to hold your reservation.  Payment must be made in full 45 days prior to your arrival.  During the time of booking until the 45 day mark, you can make as many payments as you like.  Resort rooms can actually be booked up to 500 days in advance by calling Disney directly at (407) 939-7429.  A deposit will be needed to hold your room, and rates will be adjusted once they are published.  You can add dining, park tickets and other options at a later date as well.  If you aren't looking to book that far out, Disney recommends reserving your package six months in advance.  2013 pricing should be available in the coming months.

Disney Cruise Line usually releases itinerary and sail dates between 12 and 18 months ahead of time. A deposit is required to hold your reservation, and it is usually 20% of the cruise fare per person.  Payments can be made anytime up to 75 days prior to your voyage.

I hope my answer helps with your planning.  Please let me know if I can assist you further!

    Have a magical day!
