We'll soon be making our Fast Pass+ choices for a visit in September. We were wondering if anyone has used the FP+ for viewing parades or fireworks, and how it worked out. Is it worth using a FP+ choice? Is there a special place for viewing set aside?

    Hi Lonnie:

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I have used a FastPass+ selection for both Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and thought my selections were well worth it.  With both of my FastPass+ selections, my party and I were able to arrive very close to the start of the parade and fireworks and have a fantastic view.  There is a separate viewing area forgets using FastPass+ and it was the best spot in the Theme Park, in my opinion.  We didn't have anyone in front of us and the area was very large given the amount of other people using a FastPass+ selection as well.  I loved not having to find a spot an hour early, and not having to worry about other guests blocking our view.  With that being said, I would recommend using a FastPass+ selection for the parade or fireworks only if a great viewing spot is important to you.

I hope you have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World Resort Lonnie.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
