    Marina from NY Asked

How soon in advance can I start to book character experiences

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Marina!

Meeting Characters is always at the top of my family's must-do list. I love that the Walt Disney World Resort offers many opportunities to interact with our favorite Disney Pals.

If you are looking to dine with Mickey or his Pals, you can begin making Character Dining reservations 180 days prior to your arrival. One of our favorite Character Dining experiences is at Chef Mickey's. The breakfast buffet offers many traditional favorites, but I prefer the dinner buffet for both the adult and children's offerings. Keep in mind that Character Dining experiences are popular, so plan to make reservations early to get your desired day and time. You can make reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

Using the FastPass+ system, you can pre-schedule a Character Meet-N-Greet experience. Currently, Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin booking their experiences 60 days prior to arrival while all other Guests can begin booking at the 30-day mark. Just make sure that your theme park tickets are linked in your My Disney Experience account so you will be ready to go when your window opens.

Thanks again for visiting us! Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions. Sending you lots of pixie dust as you plan your Character experiences!
