    Erin Asked

I am soo confused. I thought that Walt Disney World included the different parks like Magic Kingdom and Fantasyland, am I wrong? What parks do you need seperate tickets for?? I am planning for a 3 yr old and 6mo old twins.

    Erin,

I understand your confusion - there are a lot of different ticket options!

Your park tickets will include admission to the 4 major theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot.  You have the option to purchase base tickets, which allow you to enter one park per day, or park hopper tickets, which allow you to enter multiple parks per day.  (Park hopping is a great perk, but if you're trying to save money it's one of the first places I'd trim to fit the budget)

Now a subtopic - you mentioned Fantasyland...this is actually a part of the Magic Kingdom.  Each park is divided into subsections.  Magic Kingdom has Main Street, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toontown, Frontierland, Adventureland, and Liberty Square.  Animal Kingdom has the Oasis, DIscovery Island, Africa, Asia, DinoLand USA, Camp Minnie-Mickey, and Rafiki's Planet Watch.   Hollywood Studios has Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Streets of America, Animation Courtyard, Pixar Place, and SUnset Boulevard.  Epcot has Future World and World Showcase.  (Whew!  Is that information overload?)

You asked about separate tickets.  Those would be needed for things like a visit to the water parks or DisneyQuest (you can add the Water Parks Fun & More option to your tickets if you'd like to try these).  You would also need a separate ticket for special events like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Mickey's Pirate & Princess Party, Nights of Joy, etc.  These are held only on select nights, so check the schedule for the time period in which you are traveling.

And of course, don't forget that your twins will be free!  Children under 3 do not need a park ticket for admission.

    Hope that helps!
