hi we want to make our sons 5th birthday special, during the week of thanksgiving. It is a last minute plan and I fear all is booked up. we are unable to stay onsite this time but have a 3 day pass. Help!! :)

    Hi Danielle,

I'm so very excited to hEAR about your son's birthday visit! Celebrating his birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort will be simply INCREDIBLE!

Even if you won't be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will still be able to make good use of the FastPass+ system to book selections for your 3 theme park days. The 30-day booking window at which off-property guests can make Disney FastPass+ selections has yet to open up for the week of Thanksgiving. Just be sure to link your theme park Tickets to your My Disney Experience account online ahead of time.

Two of my favorite restaurants to celebrate a young prince's birthday are The Garden Grill in Epcot, and Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. As of this writing, there is still availability at both of these dining locations the week of Thanksgiving. Even if you don't find any openings for the desired date and time, keep trying! There may be last minute cancelations that you might be able to book.

You may also want to consider ordering one of the many delicious birthday Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort to have it delivered at your dining reservation. Alternatively, surprise him with a room full of personalized treats from Mickey Mouse and his pals by Disney Floral & Gifts. Do stop by Guest Relations to pick up a complementary birthday button. At Magic Kingdom Park, visit The Chapeau to get him a festive "Happy Birthday Ear Hat."

Wishing the young prince as very "Happy Birthday", and your entire family an unforgettable 'last minute' visit!
