We have a son-in-law who is a great fan of "The Nightmare Before Christmas". He loves Halloween. My husband and I would like to visit and see the Christmas decorations. Can we plan one visit and do both? We'll have our new grand-daughter wit

    Hi there Carolyn,

I am also a huge fan of Jack Skellington and Nightmare before Christmas.  How could you not be, right!?

It actually is possible to time your vacation right so you are able to see the Halloween /  Christmas changeover in the parks.  The final Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is on October 31st and the parks between transitioning into Christmas the very next day.

The decorations will be place around the parks gradually and in stages, but if you book 1 week long trip,n arriving on Halloween and staying through the first full week of November, there's a pretty good chance that you'll be able to see a great deal of Holiday decorations before you depart.

If you plan to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll probably need to stay about 7 days after Halloween.  Although the 2013 part dates have not yet been announced, there's a good chance that the first date will be around November 6th.

    Hope this helps.
