My son is 2.5 years old...will we need to have age identification for him? If so, what kind of ID? And what's the weather like at the beginning of October?

Hi April! I have been taking kids and grandchildren for the last 32 years and have never been asked for identification for any of them. Perhaps if you have a child that is above average size by a great deal you could just bring a copy of their birth certificate. Disney will generally take the word of the parents as to the age of the child. When they are over three they will want to be honest as they can then add them to the dining plans and other activities.

The weather in early October is still a bit steamy and warm in the day but giving you just a hint of the cooling down of the fall. You will have plenty of warm days to swim and the rain generally is tapering off so you shouldn't have the heavy showers that are normal in the summer. You never can predict what mother nature will do so check with weather.com a few days before you go to get the latest temperature and precipitation predictions.
