My son wrote to Mickey when he was 5 (he is now 27 and still have the letter and picture that Mickey sent him back) I would like to know if my grandson can to that and where to send his letter. Thank you

    Hey Denise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! That much be such a great memory for son to have received a letter from Mickey Mouse.

There are a couple of ways you can get letters or postcards from your favorite Disney character. The first way is to send a letter directly to Walt Disney World or Disneyland. In return, you will receive a signed postcard from that character. The addresses to mail your letter are:

    Guest Letters
    P. O. Box 10040
    Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-00100

    Walt Disney Company
    Attn: Fan Mail Department
    500 South Buena Vista Street
    Burbank, California 91521

If you are looking for a more personalize postcard I suggest using the "Fairy Godmailer" thread on the DisBoards: www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2440121. The "Fairy Godmailer" thread is where people going to Disney will post when they are going to be there or you can post to request to have something mailed to your grandson. If you give the Fairy Godmailer some background information they can personalize the postcard.

Another way to have your grandson receive something from Mickey is to create it yourself. When my daughter was 5-years-old I created note cards from all of her favorite princesses once a week leading up to our trip. Each card detailed something different we were planning to do on our trip. I found pictures of the princesses on Google and used the note card template in Microsoft Word. I had friends from work actually write the note cards so each one would have different handwriting.

You will definitely be creating lasting memories for your grandson no matter which method you choose. II hope this helps. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
