My son will be turning 4 when we visit the park in September. He loves all things Disney, especially Toy Story and the Disney villains! I would love some suggestions on how to make his day extra special!

    Hi Tere,

It will be so special to celebrate your little one's fourth birthday at Walt Disney World. What a great age to spend a birthday there!

Since you mentioned that your son loves Toy Story, I am going to suggest that you spend his birthday at Disney's Hollywood Studios. There, you can ride Toy Story Midway Mania!, on which you will ride through and play midway-style games featuring Toy Story characters. I do suggest that you make a FastPass+ selection for this attraction as it is very popular. Next, you could meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody nearby. How fun would it be for your son to meet some of his favorite characters on his birthday! Be sure to check the link I provided for times when you could meet the characters, as character appearances are always subject to change.

Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for you son to wear on his birthday. These are available free of charge at any Disney theme park. By wearing this, you never know when a little extra magic, like a surprise cupcake, might be sprinkled on his day. This kind of extra magic is not guaranteed, but even if it does not happen, it will be fun to hear cast members and guests alike wishing him a happy birthday. Finally, consider a customized gift from Disney Floral and Gifts. The Dream Makers there can help you to customize a gift including balloons, treats, and so much more for your son's birthday. There are options for both Pixar characters and Disney Villains as themes for these gifts.

I would love to help you plan more Tere; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
