Hi, my son is turning 4 in Nov. We plan to take him to Disneyland & hotel for two days. He has autism. Do you offer anything for his bday or for having autism? Like a fast pass so he doesn't have to wait in line. TIA

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Suzana! I am so excited that you will be taking your son to celebrate his birthday at the Disneyland Resort!

The first thing you will want to do is to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up a complimentary birthday button. He will receive all sorts of well wishes from Cast Members throughout the day. If you plan to have a sit-down meal during your visit, consider ordering a custom birthday cake to be delivered to your table. After all, what is a birthday without some delicious cake?!

As far as attractions go, certain attractions offer Disney FASTPASS Service which is included in your theme park admission. This allows you to return to the attraction during a specified time and skip most of the line. If your son is 40" tall or taller, then there are a lot of attractions available to the whole family that have FASTPASS. If he's not quite that tall, you can use FASTPASS on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Toy Story Midway Mania, Haunted Mansion Holiday, and Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, as these attractions do not have height requirements. If you find that your son has real difficulty waiting in line, you can discuss Disability Access Service with Guest Relations. By offering a virtual wait, this service might ease some of the frustration and anxiety of waiting in a long queue.

I hope this was helpful! Have a fabulous visit!
