    Lucy from UK Asked

I have a son who suffers with ADHD, we have utilized the guest passes in the past which have made our holiday fantastic, can I buy a pass for parking, that allows us to park closer and not having to wait for the trams (ADHD child and carparks do not mix)

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Lucy!

I have a son with special needs so I completely understand your situation.

Some of the other central Florida theme parks have preferred parking areas where you can pay for areas closer to the entrances of the parks but Disney does not currently offer it. There are Diamond Parking lots near the front of the parks with limited parking available for AAA (American Automobile Association) Members who purchase select vacation packages. Those parking vouchers are issued through AAA.

Handicapped Parking Permits in the U.S. are issued by the State and they can not be purchased or issued through Disney or rental car companies. However, if you have a handicapped parking permit that you use in the UK, you can bring that with you and you will be able to use it for access to the Handicapped Parking Areas.  You'll just need to make sure you display it on your rear view mirror so that it is clearly visible.

Perhaps you could have someone drop you and your son off and then park the car. If this is a possibility for you, be sure to ask for directions at the Auto Plaza when you enter the parking areas.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your questions.  Its our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
