Hi Kathryn!
You are absolutely right about Pirates of the Caribbean!
The swashbuckling buccaneers led by Captain Jack Sparrow are awaiting guests of all ages (I've even seen parents board with their infant children).
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm thrilled about your upcoming trip to Disneyland and happy to help you navigate through the many opportunities for fun and excitement at the Happiest Place on Earth, with a two-year-old.
First off, if you visit the
Disneyland website, you can get a list of rides for all ages by clicking on "
Attractions" under the "Things to Do" tab. Once you're there, you can sort through the various rides and filter your results by thrill type, age interest and height, among several other categories. I would say this is the easiest and most convenient way of making plans for a Magical experience with your little boy.
Also, if you download the
Disneyland Mobile App on your phone, you can have easy access to parade schedules, attraction wait times and character locations on the day of your visit. Plus, now there's a really cool feature called
MaxPass, that allows guests to reserve FASTPASSES for some of the most popular attractions from the convenience of your cell phone!
On a final note, just wanted to share a few of my favorite Disneyland rides for two year old Mouseketeers:
*Haunted Mansion
*Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters
*Astro Orbitor
*Jungle Cruise
*Pirates of the Caribbean
*Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
I hope this helps.
Have a Magical time!
