My son was recently diagnosed with Celiac and we need to make sure he can stay GF at Disney. What are some of the best options for GF dining, both counter service and sit down?

    Hi Ellen!

Walt Disney World chefs and restaurant Cast Members take pride in offering the best service to all of their Guests, even if they may have dietary restrictions. I have a kiddo with a milk allergy, so we love to visit Walt Disney World and just let her enjoy herself with the knowledge that her special diet won't be compromised. Most table service restaurants are equipped to create delicious gluten-free meals for your little prince, and select quick service locations may also have menu items that will accommodate his diet. When you make your dining reservations, be sure to annotate that your son is on a gluten-free diet. You'll also be able to share this information again once you arrive for your reservation. We've always had our server ask us about any food allergies before we even get the chance to share on our own!

You didn't specify what parks you will be visiting, but having a meal at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom for lunch or dinner would be a great option for everyone in your party. They have gluten-free cookies. a delicious quinoa salad, and they even offer a gluten-free 6" round cake! When visiting quick service stations, feel free to directly ask the Cast Members for gluten-free suggestions.

I hope this answered your question, Ellen. If you have any more questions before your vacation, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney Day!
