    Iain from Scotland Asked

My son has recently broken his arm. Is there any restrictions on the rides that he can go on and is there a way that he does not need to stand in long queues?

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Iain. I'm sorry to hear that your son has broken his arm. My guess is that he probably is in a cast or a splint to protect his arm as it heals. Prior to your trip, please be sure to check with your son's doctor to ensure he has medical clearance. We want to make sure he can safely enjoy his time at the Happiest Place on Earth!

As long as safety harnesses are able to be properly applied, there usually aren't restrictions on rides that your son can go on with a cast or splint. However, he should avoid getting his cast wet by skipping attractions such as Grizzly River Run or Splash Mountain. If you have further questions regarding your son's cast while riding attractions, friendly Cast Members are able to assist you throughout the parks.

To avoid long wait times in line, don't forget to utilize the Disney FASTPASS Service. It helps to save your place in line so that you can enjoy the rest of the parks. Then, when it is time, simply present your FASTPASS ticket at the FASTPASS return entrance. You'll be able to enjoy the ride with minimal wait.

I hope you'll find this information helpful. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
