My son really wants to do the Jedi Training at DHS. Since we will be visiting during SWW in May, we plan to take advantage of the EMH and arrive at the park by 7:45am. How long can we expect to wait in line to be assigned a show time?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Michelle ~

I LOVE Star Wars Weekends (SWW) and I am super excited about this year! I cannot wait to see Mark Hamill during SWW IV!

Jedi Training Academy is always very popular and extremely popular during SWW. Young Padawans that want to participate usually head to the ABC Sound Studio to sign up as soon as they enter Hollywood Studios. For purposes of planning, I would allow at least 30 minutes to sign up for Jedi Training Academy. Hopefully, it won't take that long but if you are planning a dining reservation or FastPass+ time, giving yourself at least 30 minutes should help you schedule your day.

It seems that Disney is changing things up a bit for this year's SWW so stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for new information to be released and the event website DisneyTheForce.com. If you are on twitter be sure to follow #DisneyTheForce.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. It is our pleasure to assist you!

May the Force be with you :-) Allison V.
