my son is in the military and would like to buy me and other's a ticket, however he will not be he able to buy them with a military discount? does he also have to use his own credit card or can he use someone eles?

    Hi Maria,

It's very kind of your son to want to purchase park tickets for you with his military discount, but he can only do this if he is planning to visit Walt Disney World with you. According to the Walt Disney World website, the member of the military or their spouse must be present and show their military identification to activate the tickets purchased with a military discount.

Hopefully you will be able to plan a trip to visit the parks together.
Please thank your son on my behalf for his service to our country!
    Wishing you a magical day,
    Amy H.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, North Carolina

Hey, Howdy, Hey! I'm Amy H. and I have been a fan of Walt Disney World since my first visit during the Magic Kingdom Park's opening year. I am married to my favorite person in the world and together we have a teenaged son and daughter plus an assortment of animals. We have been visiting Walt Disney World since before the kids were born so I have a family of experts supporting me. No matter the ages or size of your traveling party, I'd love to help plan your trip to Walt Disney World! Learn More About Amy
