My son has a mild form of cerebral palsy and tires easily when having to walk long distances. I'm looking for a small sit-stand stroller option for upcoming Disney trip, but not having any luck. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi, there!

Scott, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. With so many new and exciting experiences coming to the theme parks, now more than ever is the time to visit!

Pixie-dusted adventures require a lot of walking, so a stroller for your son is an absolute must-have. If you're looking for a small sit-and-stand option, I recommend the Joovy Caboose Stand On Tandem Stroller or the Baby Joy Stand and Ride Stroller. These sit-and-stand options are lightweight and relatively inexpensive.

While not a sit-and-stand type stroller, I most recommend a City Mini Single (or Double) Stroller for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. This is my family's go-to because it's lightweight and folds super easily. I also love that the stroller has extra large canopies to keep my kids well-shaded in that hot Orlando sun. Not knowing just how old or tall your son is, I also suggest checking out the City Mini GT Single Stroller. The GT version features a taller seat back and longer footwell. Both the City Mini and the City Mini GT can be rented from one of Disney's Featured Providers. These rental companies will deliver a stroller right to your Disney Resort hotel!

If you have any concerns about your son and his mobility during your stay, I suggest reviewing the helpful services and access options available at the Walt Disney World Resort. For additional information, call (407) 560-2547 to speak with a friendly Cast Member!

I hope this was helpful, Scott. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
