Hi! My son, 7 loves water slides. We are going to at least 1 water park. I read on the Disney site that the water depth in the Ski Patrol TC is 8'. Is this true? Can he wear a lifevest on all the slides he is tall enough for? He is not 48". Thanks!

    Hi there Beverly!

My kids love waterslides as well in fact we are going to drive down to Wlat Disney World just to go to the water parks next week. I cannot wait to play in Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon! Yes the water height in the Ski Patrol Training Camp is 8' but it's because it's a zip line and the kids would touch bottom if it weren't so deep. The rest of the Tikes Peak pools are of reasonable depth. Your child may be able to wear a life jacket at all of the water slides at both of the water parks. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
