Mom and Child wearing Magic Bands

My son will be heading back to Epcot just after being there 8 weeks prior. He will NOT be staying in an official Disney Resort when returning. I already have his ticket & am wondering if I can link it to the magic band that he wore last week?

    Hi Kelley,

How exciting that your son will be visiting Epcot again very soon. So many things to do, experiences to live and food to enjoy, I cannot wait to head back.

MagicBands are such a great invention. They carry your Theme Park Tickets, your Disney PhotoPass Service pictures and videos, and even your FastPass+ reservations. And even though they do give some additional Benefits for Disney Resort Hotel Guests, they can be enjoyed all Guests, regardless of where they stay.

Your son can certainly use his old MagicBand on his next trip. Once Theme Park Tickets are linked to a My Disney Experience account, any active MagicBand will work. Just in case, he should still carry his Theme Park Ticket card.

One last tip: be sure he Links his Theme Park Tickets and book FastPass+ reservations up to 30 days in advance to skip the lines on up to three of his favorite experiences every day. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
