My 10 yo son hasn't been to MK yet. Going 2 MNSSHP 09/28, is that enough of MK for him? Very much a boy, not sure he will appreciate the young, girlie stuff of MK beyond what he will see & do at the party. 2 days at AK might be more his speed. Suggesti

Don't tell my 14-year-old son that Magic Kingdom is full of just young, girlie stuff. It's his favorite park! Between Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and the ever-popular-with pre-teen-boys Stitch, he stays pretty busy in the park. All my three sons find its fireworks show pretty spectacular, too. I don't know that you will be able to see everything at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party, especially because so much of the party is at night, and there's much to see in the park during the day.

With that said, I personally feel that two days at Animal Kingdom would be a mistake. Some guests even feel the park is not a full-day park... (not my sentiment, though). If I were in your shoes, if you aren't considering a second day at Magic Kingdom, I would spend your second day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Your son will most probably be able ride all of the attractions, including Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and Star Tours. The park offers a lot for kids who are more familiar with Disney's Pixar offerings like Toy Story and Cars than the iconic Pluto and Goofy. If you have some time, take a look at the park at www.disneyworld.com, specifically its attractions before you simply head to Animal Kingdom for two days.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
