My son goes to University of Miami. He lives there 9 months a year. Is he eligible to buy Florida Resident park passes? He has school I.D. and address in Coral Gables ,Florida.

    Hey Cathy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your great question about proving Florida residence at Walt Disney World Resort. As a Florida Resident myself, I am thrilled to answer your question!

Cathy, in order for your son to enjoy any Florida Resident exclusive theme park tickets, annual passes or discounts he must be able to provide proof of a residential Florida address. The three easiest ways of doing so are by providing:

        •    A valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
        •    A valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
        •    A valid Florida-based military ID

If he does not have one of the forms of ID listed above, no worries! — there are still other ways of proving residential Florida address, which include:

       •    Proof of current mortgage
       •    Bills, policies or registrations
       •    Certain types of mail

Disney Mom Tip: You can find the full list of specific items that he can use to prove residential Florida address on this page.

Cathy, I hope your son is able to enjoy the wonderful discounts and benefits available for Florida Residents. If you have any other questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always hEAR to help you!

    P.S. GO CANES!
