My son and his family insist on driving their car to the parks instead of using DW transportation; do they have to pay for parking or is it included since we are staying onsite? Thank you.

    Hello Karen!
I just love the Walt Disney World Transportation System because it is so easy to get around using it on your Walt Disney World vacation! I can understand if your son and his family prefer to use their own vehicle to get around during their Walt Disney World vacation. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, then parking is complimentary at all of the Walt Disney World theme parks. All you have to do is request a parking pass when you check into your Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind that for the Magic Kingdom Park, if you drive your vehicle to get there then you will have to plan for extra time to park your vehicle, take a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center (the TTC) and then take a Monorail or Ferry Boat to the Magic Kingdom Park. If you use a Disney bus to get from your resort to the Magic Kingdom Park, then you will be dropped off right at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park which will save you time. I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
